Stonewall is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gillespie County, Texas, United States. The population was 469 at the 2000 census. It was named for Thomas J. (Stonewall) Jackson, by Israel P. Nunez, who established a stage station near the site in 1870. Stonewall is the birthplace and deathplace of former U.S. President Lyndon Johnson, and his LBJ Ranch (much of which is now the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park) is located nearby.

What is utilities law?

Utilities have a duty to provide safe and adequate service on reasonable terms to anyone who lives within the service area on without discriminating between customers. Because most utilities operate in near monopolistic conditions, they can be heavily regulated by local, state, and federal authorities.
