It lies along Delaware Route 71, southwest of the city of Wilmington, the county seat of New Castle County. Its elevation is 69 feet (21 m), and it is located at 39°34′18″N 75°41′47″W / 39.57167°N 75.69639°W / 39.57167; -75.69639 (39.5717785, -75.6963203). Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 19708.
