The Manti Utah Temple, one of the first temples built by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is found in Manti and dominates the area's skyline. The city is also the headquarters of a polygamist offshoot of the mainstream LDS Church, the True and Living Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of the Last Days.
